TikTok: Ephemeral or Memorable?
Prior literature demonstrates that viewing information in a disconnected fashion leads to poorer memory, and organizing information in a meaningful way enhances memory. No research has examined this phenomenon in a naturalistic setting. Therefore, we were interested in how this applies to popular social media platforms, such as TikTok.
